KARACHI (Staff Report) – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Sunday announced to change Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and some other members of the provincial cabinet.
According to a statement by PPP spokesperso Senator Farhatullah Babar, the decision was taken during a party meeting chaired by former President Asif Ali Zardari and party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Dubai.
“Bilawal is set to return to Karachi in the next few days to hold meetings with party MPAs before finalising the changes in the Sindh cabinet,” he added in the statement.
Meanwhile, media reports said that Syed Murad Ali Shah will now take charge as the next provincial chief minister.
It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that PPP leadership had Saturday flown to the UAE to hold discussions on extension in Rangers’ special powers and other issues.
